Greg McMurdie, CFP®, ChFC, CEBS
Greg has spent the past 35 years building his business, his dreams, and those of his clients. He prides himself in the fact that he puts to practice the principles he teaches to clients in his own life, raising eight children with his wife of 37 years, putting them each through college and still successfully working toward retirement.
A 1973 graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Management, Greg has gone on to obtain multiple certifications, including Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, and has been designated a Retirement Plans Associate.
In 2004 Greg was asked to teach at Southern Methodist University as part of the Certification program for Financial Planning. Presently he is teaching Employee Benefits and Retirement Planning and has taught Fundamentals of Financial Planning in the same program.
Greg McMurdie is a past board member of the Garland Chamber of Commerce and Best Education Foundation and is a qualifying lifetime member of the Million Dollar Roundtable.
Greg is fluent in Spanish, is an active leader in his church, and spends as much time as he can spare on the golf course. He and his wife of 37 years, Bonnie, have raised their eight children and now enjoy their 31 grandchildren. Of course, they're on target for their own retirement.
